A woman’s husband didn’t know she had regained her sight after two years of blindness – when she saw what he kept in their bedroom, she was speechless

“Sutton, did you really ask Ashton about those documents?”

“Not yet.”

“Then you need to talk to him.”

“What possible explanation could he have for hiding the divorce papers under our bed?”

“I don’t know. But imagining the worst won’t give you the truth.”

After finishing the conversation, I returned to my suitcase.

I found a small notebook under Ashton’s shirt.

It contained dates, meetings, and handwritten thoughts.

Some entries were several months old.

I used my phone to enlarge the text.

I feel overwhelmed after work.I have trouble sleeping

Healthier boundaries need to be established.

Then one sentence caught my attention.

Am I helping Sutton become more independent or am I making her feel incapable?

I read it twice.

There was a business card between the pages.

Rebecca is a licensed marriage and family therapist.

I sat down comfortably

Rebecca wasn’t necessarily another woman in my husband’s personal life.
