For now, the official account describes a late-night neighborhood dispute that escalated dramatically: a police patrol was dispatched following a 112 call at around 10:30 p.m.; a 51-year-old man allegedly punched an officer in the face; officers then attempted to arrest him; the man allegedly pulled out a knife and refused to obey their orders; and police subsequently used physical force and auxiliary means to subdue him.
The man was detained for up to 24 hours, while the injured officer received attention for minor injuries.
