What they found was that between 2021 and 2025 the division had been recognising the full value of certain multi-year service contracts in the quarter of signature, which flattered three years of divisional performance by an amount the report puts at about eleven per cent.
Eleven per cent is not fraud. It is the difference between a divisional head who is excellent and a divisional head who is fine.
