Several months later, he proposed during a private dinner overlooking the sea. The table was decorated with flowers, candles illuminated the terrace, and a small velvet box rested beside her glass.
Inside was a beautiful diamond ring.
Amelia was speechless.
Karim explained that he did not want her to say yes because of his money. He wanted her to choose him because she believed they could build something meaningful together.
