Sometimes the kindest thing we can do for an animal is not approach it at all.
A small yellow ribbon can communicate a very simple request:
“Please give me some space.”
And when we respect that request, we make sidewalks, parks, neighborhoods, and communities more comfortable for everyone—humans and dogs alike.
