- Genetics Play a Major Role in Body Shape
One of the biggest influences on the size and shape of a woman’s buttocks is genetics.
Just as some people naturally have broad shoulders, narrow waists, or long legs, others inherit a body structure that gives them fuller hips and buttocks. These characteristics can run in families because genes influence skeletal structure, muscle development, and where the body tends to store fat.
The pelvis also plays an important role. Differences in pelvicwidth, hip structure, and the shape of the surrounding muscles can affect how the buttocks appear from different angles.
This means that two women who have similar heights and body weights may have very different silhouettes. One may have a relatively straight figure, while the other may naturally have a more pronounced difference between her waist and hips.
