Another way a lack of love manifests is by preferring to spend time away from the partner. They might take refuge in work, outings with friends, or new activities. Suddenly, the home ceases to be a shared space and becomes merely a place to pass through. They aren’t always aware of it, but this need to escape reflects the discomfort of being with someone they no longer love.
